La Laiterie
Permanent installation. Opening: spring 2018.
Public commission by the Commune de Schaerbeek, Brussels, 2017.
Josaphat Park is one of the largest parks in Brussels and is a listed national heritage site. In 2011, the municipality undertook a project to demolish and rebuild the park's La Laiterie building, entrusting the project to architect Daniel Delgoffe. The council has also decided to permanently integrate a work of art into the new building.

The project involves work on the large windows above the main entrance to the new building. The geometric design is inspired by existing buildings in the park. Technically, the windows are sandblasted and coloured with several layers of translucent red lacquer.
